They look at each other like they were almost lovers, like they should have kissed and made love and laughed in bed together, but they chose to stay friends instead. They look at each other with what ifs and could haves and hearts full of regrets.

I literally love being at home! In my own space! Comfortable! Not surrounded by people!

The saddest thing about recovery is the illusion that you will be your old self again. When you are in recovery, you are in the process of becoming a new person with new set of ways to cope, with new set of ways to recharge and with new set of ways to find happiness. It’s basically starting a new life whether you like it or not.

i hope u find someone that mindlessly plays with your hands and lightly strokes your legs and massages your back and plays with your hair and i hope that u feel like you’re home when u look at them
no other person on this planet was made for you, they were made for themselves. love is all about choices. no one is going to be perfect for you, and i think we need to stop raising everyone on the belief that someone out there, just one other person in the whole world, was “made for you” because it isn’t true. no one is made for you, besides you. other people belong to themselves. if you want to make it work with someone, it’s about hard work, understanding, compassion, communication, and choice
